Stack-based buffer overflow in code-projects Hotel Management System 1.0 allows local users to crash the program via an oversized room number. The Edit function reads room-number data into fixed-size stack buffers through an unbounded scanf conversion and gets call, overwriting adjacent memory. An authenticated user must reach the interactive Edit Room workflow; the published proof of concept demonstrates an access-violation crash, while the report identifies arbitrary code execution as a further consequence.
