Administrator access via hardcoded application secrets
Published Aug 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Authentication bypass in RUCKUS Networks SmartZone before 6.1.2p3 Refresh Build allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The application embeds multiple secrets, and a valid API key combined with crafted HTTP headers routes requests around normal authentication. API access and possession of the key are required; successful exploitation permits full control of the wireless management environment.
