Browser script execution via unneutralized memo value
Published May 10, 2025 · Updated May 10, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in JAdmin 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the memo save endpoint. A published request sends an HTML event handler in value, and /memoAjax/save accepts the executable markup without neutralization; the CNA instead attributes the flaw to ID processing. Low-privileged access and a later page view are required, and execution is confined to the viewer's browser context.
