Unauthenticated stack corruption via oversized radIpkey
Published May 20, 2025 · Updated May 21, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in PLANET WGS-804HPT firmware 1.305b241111 allows remote attackers to crash the device via radIpkey. The web_radiusSrv_post handler accepts an oversized radIpkey value without enforcing the destination stack buffer bounds. No authentication or user interaction is required; public evidence establishes stack corruption but not reliable code execution.
