Authenticated command execution via FileName shell separators
Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 1, 2025
Command injection in TOTOLINK CP900 6.3c.1144_B20190715 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via FileName. The setUpgradeUboot handler places the FileName value in a command context without neutralizing shell separators, so a semicolon starts an additional command. A low-privileged authenticated session is required, and successful exploitation gives the attacker command execution on the network device.
