Unauthenticated command execution via version parameter
Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 2, 2025
Command injection in TOTOLINK CA600-PoE 5.3c.6665_B20180820 allows remote attackers to execute commands through a crafted request. CloudSrvUserdataVersionCheck passes the version value into a shell command without neutralizing command separators, so an injected command such as pwd is evaluated. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands in the device firmware context.
