Authenticated command execution via reboot schedule parameters
Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 1, 2025
Command injection in TOTOLINK CPE CP900 6.3c.1144_B20190715 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via a crafted request. setApRebootScheCfg embeds the hour and minute request values in a root-crontab shell command with sprintf and passes it to CsteSystem without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Access to an authenticated web session is required; successful injection permits command execution and alteration of the device's reboot schedule.
