CVE-2025-44658Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via alternate-extension uploads

Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in NETGEAR RAX30 firmware 1.0.10.94 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code via alternate extensions. The router's PHP-FPM configuration passes uploaded files with non-.php suffixes to the PHP interpreter instead of restricting execution to .php files. No authentication or user interaction is required; a successful upload exposes router data and executes attacker-supplied PHP in the web-service context.
