Uncontrolled resource consumption in TRENDnet TPL-430AP firmware 1.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via FTP connections. The bftpd configuration sets USERLIMIT_GLOBAL to 0, so the FTP service accepts unlimited concurrent users instead of enforcing a connection cap. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; resource exhaustion disrupts availability, but the published record does not identify whether the device hangs, crashes, or reboots.
