Root command execution via crafted management requests

OS command injection in H3C ERG2 and GR router firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root without authentication. Crafted text in a request URL or message header bypasses authentication, after which ACL and user-group fields pass attacker-controlled commands for execution. The management service must be reachable; H3C states that remote Web and Telnet management are disabled by default, and successful exploitation grants complete device control.
