CVE-2025-44559Public exploit

Device crash via repeated BLE control procedures

Published Jun 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Denial of service in Realtek RTL8762E BLE SDK 1.4.0 allows physically proximate attackers to crash devices via crafted BLE packets. The control procedure handler accepts repeated LL_VERSION_IND, pairing_request, and LL_LENGTH_REQ messages, driving its state machine into an invalid or resource-exhausted state. No pairing or authentication is required; repeated sequences crash or hang the device until a manual reset.
