BLE connection denial via premature Pairing Random

Denial of service in Realtek RTL8762E SDK 1.4.0 allows physically proximate attackers to block secure BLE connections. The BLE Secure Connections state machine processes a Pairing Random packet before the required Pairing Public Key exchange, enters an invalid state, and aborts pairing. The attack requires Bluetooth range and no prior authentication; repeated packets prevent the RTL8762EKF-EVB from establishing secure BLE connections.
