CVE-2025-44528Public exploit

BLE denial of service via premature encryption pause

Published Jun 23, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Denial of service in Texas Instruments SimpleLink CC13XX CC26XX SDK 7.41.00.17 allows physically proximate attackers to stall BLE pairing. The Link Layer accepts an unencrypted LL_PAUSE_ENC_REQ before encryption is active and enters an inconsistent encryption-pause state. The packet must be injected over Bluetooth during connection setup; affected sessions drop or stall, and later pairing or secure communication fails.
