CVE-2025-44525Public exploit

BLE service interruption via unchecked MaxRxOctets

Published Jul 9, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Denial of service in SimpleLink CC13XX CC26XX SDK 7.41.00.17 allows physically proximate attackers to break BLE communication. The BLE Link Layer accepts an LL_LENGTH_REQ MaxRxOctets value below the 27-byte minimum and reduces the receive limit to the attacker-supplied value. A BLE central must first connect within radio range; packets larger than that limit are then silently discarded while the link remains active.
