CVE-2025-4452Network attack vector

Router compromise via curTime buffer overflow

Published May 9, 2025 · Updated May 9, 2025

Buffer overflow in formSetWizard2 in D-Link DIR-619L 2.04B04 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the router via curTime. The handler copies the curTime request value into a memory buffer without checking its length, allowing an oversized value to overwrite adjacent memory. Low-privileged access to the network management interface is required; successful exploitation can alter data, disclose data, or interrupt service.
