Authenticated memory corruption via oversized curTime input
Published May 9, 2025 · Updated May 9, 2025
Buffer overflow in formSetWAN_Wizard52 in D-Link DIR-619L 2.04B04 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. The handler copies an attacker-controlled curTime value without an effective destination-size check, allowing the input to overrun its buffer. Access to the router management interface is required, and successful exploitation can crash the service or redirect program execution.
