CVE-2025-4440

Authenticated code execution via EnableIpv6 parameter overflow

Published May 8, 2025 · Updated May 9, 2025

Buffer overflow in New H3C Technologies GR-1800AX 100R008 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the IPv6 form. The EnableIpv6 handler at /routing/goform/aspForm processes the attacker-controlled param field without enforcing its destination buffer's capacity. A valid low-privilege session and adjacent-network access are required; successful exploitation can crash the router or execute code in its firmware context.
