Authenticated XSS via CDN-served Kubernetes proxy
Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Cross-site scripting in GitLab CE/EE 15.10 through 18.0.4, 18.1 through 18.1.2, and 18.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script. GitLab identifies the Kubernetes proxy on instances served through certain content delivery networks, but has not published the faulty operation on untrusted input. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and victim interaction; injected script executes in the victim’s browser context and can read or alter accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=15.10 <18.0.5
- Affected versionversion=18.1 <18.1.3
