Credential disclosure and lockout via setup race
Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Race condition in HotelDruid 3.0.0 and 3.0.7 allows remote attackers to disclose the administrator username, password hash, and salt. The unauthenticated creadb.php endpoint runs concurrent database creation without locking, while esegui_query() echoes failing SQL containing account secrets. Remote access requires non-localhost exposure before setup completes; a winning race permanently closes setup with an unusable administrator account.
