Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in SourceCodester Best Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to replace an administrator password. The /admin/change_pass.php handler accepts a caller-supplied password in a POST request without requiring an anti-CSRF token. An authenticated administrator must visit an attacker-controlled page, which silently submits the request and replaces the account password.
