Stored XSS via unsanitized profile fields
Published May 14, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2025
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Best Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through profile fields. /admin/profile.php stores website_image, fname, lname, contact, username, and address values without sanitizing them before later browser rendering. An administrator must save a crafted value, and execution occurs when a user views the stored profile content, exposing that browser session to same-origin actions.
