Stored script execution via unsanitized profile fields
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2025
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Vehicle Record Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a viewer's browser. The /admin/profile.php update handler stores name, email, and mobile values without adequate validation or sanitization, then renders them on the profile page. Exploitation requires administrator access and a subsequent profile view, exposing the viewer's site-scoped data and actions to the injected script.
