Browser script execution via stored brand name
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2025
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Vehicle Record Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The edit-brand.php handler stores the brandname POST value without adequate validation or sanitization and later renders it in the Brand editing view. Exploitation requires access to the administrative brand-editing workflow and a subsequent view of the stored value, exposing page data and actions available to the victim's browser session.
