Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via trusted type input
Published May 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload for WooCommerce 1.1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to write server files. The upload() function trusts the user-supplied supported_type value and filename without verifying the file's real extension or MIME type. No authentication is required; code execution requires the web server to treat an uploaded file as executable code.
