Unauthenticated subscription disclosure via missing channel access check
Published Aug 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 11, 2025
Missing authorization in Mattermost Confluence Plugin before 1.5.0 allows remote attackers to read channel subscription details via its API. The Get Channel Subscriptions details endpoint returns subscription data for a supplied channel without verifying that the requester can access that channel. No authentication is required by the published vector, but high attack complexity limits the consequence to disclosure of subscription details.
