CVE-2025-43986Network attack vector

Unauthenticated root access via passwordless Telnet

Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 14, 2025

Incorrect access control in KuWFi GC111 firmware GC111-GL-LM321_V3.0_20191211 allows remote attackers to obtain root access via Telnet. The Telnet service starts by default, listens on the WAN interface, and accepts the root account without requiring a password. Network reachability to the WAN-exposed service is sufficient for unauthenticated root-level command execution, including reading or altering device data.
