Credential disclosure and settings modification via unauthenticated handlers
Published Aug 14, 2025 · Updated Aug 15, 2025
Missing authentication in KuWFi CPF908-CP5 WEB5.0_LCD_20210125 allows remote attackers to disclose credentials and alter settings. The goform_get_cmd_process and goform_set_cmd_process HTTP handlers accept unauthenticated requests for privileged operations, including reading administrator credentials, sending SMS messages, changing Wi-Fi credentials, and restoring factory settings. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; no account or user interaction is required.
