CVE-2025-43955Hinoki check available

Expression injection via unrestricted JXPath functions

Published Apr 20, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Expression injection in TwsCachedXPathAPI in Convertigo through 8.3.4 allows local users to invoke dangerous functions through crafted XPath. The selectList and selectNode methods create JXPathContext instances without replacing the default function library, so attacker-controlled expressions can resolve and invoke exposed Java methods. Exploitation requires influence over an evaluated XPath expression, low privileges, and user interaction; method invocation can alter application data, while command execution depends on reachable methods.
