CVE-2025-43925Network attack vector

Cleartext data recovery via hardcoded encryption key

Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Hardcoded-key encryption in UNICOM Focal Point 7.2.0 through 7.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to recover cleartext database information. The database storage layer encrypts some stored information with the same fixed key, allowing the key to reverse that protection. Exploitation requires low privileges and user interaction; public sources do not identify the affected fields, key location, or required interaction.
