Unauthorized certificate issuance via email-domain propagation

Domain-control bypass in SSL.com before 2025-04-19 allows remote authenticated users to obtain TLS certificates for uncontrolled domains. The affected DCV callback extracts the domain from the approver's email address and propagates that email domain into a validation record instead of the requested domain. An SSL.com account, control of a DNS TXT record on one domain, and access to the listed email address are required; successful use misissues a trusted DV TLS certificate for the email domain.
