Authenticated service interruption via argument injection
Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025
Argument injection in Dell PowerProtect Data Domain DD OS allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service through crafted command input. Dell identifies improper neutralization of argument delimiters in a command but has not published the affected interface, command, or input field. Low-privileged network access is required; published evidence limits the consequence to service interruption without specifying a hang, crash, or restart.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.10.1.0 <7.10.1.70
- Affected versionversion=7.13.1.0 <7.13.1.40
