Unauthenticated information disclosure via UI path traversal
Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025
Path traversal in the UI of Dell PowerProtect Data Domain DD OS allows remote attackers to read data outside the intended directory. The UI accepts a pathname without adequately restricting its resolution to the designated directory; Dell has not disclosed the affected route or parameter. The issue affects Feature Release 7.7.1.0 through 8.4.0.0, LTS2024 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.30, and LTS2023 7.10.1.0 through 7.10.1.60; reachability requires unauthenticated network access to the management UI, and the published consequence is read-only information exposure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.10.1.0 <7.10.1.70
- Affected versionversion=7.13.1.0 <7.13.1.40
