Regular expression denial of service in GROWI before 7.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a deep page path. The restrictedPatternsToCreate path check evaluates a nested-quantifier expression against an attacker-controlled page path, causing excessive backtracking. Any logged-in user who can create a page through the page tree or a permalink can consume server processing time; no data-read or data-write impact is reported.
