CVE-2025-43879Network attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via telnet request

Published Jun 24, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025

OS command injection in all versions of ELECOM WRH-733GBK and WRH-733GWH allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. JPCERT/CC identifies the telnet function as the vulnerable locus but does not disclose which request field reaches an OS command or how neutralization fails. Exploitation requires unauthenticated LAN-side access and executes commands with the router service's privileges, permitting complete control of affected devices.
