Stored script execution via undisclosed WebGUI handling
Published Jun 24, 2025 · Updated Jun 25, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in all versions of ELECOM WRC-1167GHBK2-S allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in users' browsers. The public advisories identify the WebGUI as the storage and rendering surface but do not disclose the affected field, request, or missing neutralization operation. The attacker needs WebGUI login access, and execution occurs when another user accesses the WebGUI, allowing script actions within that browser session.
