OS command injection in Johnson Controls iSTAR controllers allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through getOptionsInfo. The getOptionsInfo web handler incorporates attacker-controlled input into an operating-system command without neutralizing command syntax. A low-privileged authenticated web session is required, and successful injection permits unauthorized access to the controller.
