CVE-2025-43824Network attack vector

Authenticated vCard extension spoofing via header injection

Published Oct 6, 2025 · Updated Oct 6, 2025

HTTP response splitting in Liferay Portal 7.4 and DXP 7.4 and 2023 releases allows remote authenticated users to alter vCard extensions. The Profile widget inserts an account name into the Content-Disposition filename without neutralizing response-header control characters. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and an active vCard download, and it changes the client-visible filename rather than server data.
