Unauthenticated template disclosure via missing view authorization
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
Missing authorization in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote attackers to read display page templates via crafted URLs. The display-page-template viewing path accepts a template selection from a crafted URL and returns the template without checking whether the requester has view permission. Affected releases are Liferay Portal 7.3.0 through 7.4.3.111 and Liferay DXP 2023.Q4.0, 2023.Q3.1 through 2023.Q3.4, 7.4 GA through update 92, and 7.3 GA through update 35; no authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is template disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
