CVE-2025-43794Network attack vector

Administrator stored XSS via CDN host settings

Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025

Stored XSS in affected Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP releases allows remote authenticated users to inject script into all pages. The Instance Configuration stores crafted CDN Host HTTP or HTTPS text values and renders them across all pages without neutralizing embedded markup. Only instance administrators can write these settings; the payload executes when another user loads an affected page, allowing page-context data access or actions.
