CVE-2025-43782Network attack vector

Authenticated workflow-definition disclosure via missing object authorization

Published Sep 11, 2025 · Updated Sep 11, 2025

IDOR in affected Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP releases allows remote authenticated users to read workflow definitions by name through the API. In vulnerable builds, workflow-definition retrieval by name returns a matched Kaleo definition without enforcing the caller's object-level access. The issue spans Portal 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.124 and DXP 2024.Q1.1 through 2024.Q1.12, 2024.Q2.0 through 2024.Q2.7, and 7.4 GA through update 92; integrity and availability are unaffected.
