Stored script execution via unescaped fieldset names
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Stored XSS in affected Liferay Portal and DXP releases allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through Kaleo Forms Admin fieldset names. Kaleo Forms Admin stores a fieldset name and renders it without proper sanitization or output escaping, causing the payload to execute in a browser. High-privilege access is required to plant the payload, and another user's viewing of the stored content exposes that user's data and actions to script execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
