Unrestricted file upload in Liferay Portal and DXP style books allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. UpdateStyleBookEntryPreviewMVCActionCommand copied a selected preview FileEntry into the style book repository without restricting its extension or requiring an image MIME type. Exploitation requires high privileges and active interaction with the preview workflow; successful uploads run code in the server environment.
