CVE-2025-43762Network attack vector

Storage exhaustion via undeleted form uploads

Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025

Resource exhaustion in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote attackers to consume storage through repeated form file uploads. The form upload field persists temporary files in document_library but does not delete replaced, cleared, or abandoned uploads. A reachable form containing a file-upload field is required; repeated interactions exhaust storage and interrupt service when capacity is depleted.
