Data disclosure via unchecked endpoint origin
Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Aug 19, 2025
CSRF in affected Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP releases allows remote attackers to read protected data via a crafted endpoint URL. The API Explorer at /o/api accepts the endpoint parameter as an OpenAPI URL without first enforcing a same-origin comparison, causing the authenticated browser to request an attacker-chosen origin. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to open crafted content; the cross-origin request can expose data available to that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
