Browser script execution via unescaped page name
Published Aug 18, 2025 · Updated Aug 18, 2025
Reflected XSS in Liferay Portal 7.4.3.132 and DXP 2025.Q1.0 through 2025.Q1.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript. The document View Usages page passes the content page name from getLayoutClassedModelUsageName directly into a column value without HTML escaping. A user must view that page after an authenticated attacker supplies the crafted name, enabling script execution in that user's browser.
