Persistent application crash via cyclic XML references

Uncontrolled recursion in VisiCut 2.1 allows local users to crash the application by importing a crafted settings archive. The FromFile importer deserializes settings.xml and recursively resolves a cyclic nested-set reference without a depth limit until Java exhausts the call stack. A user must select the archive for import; the resulting settings retrigger the overflow during later startups and leave the application unusable.
