Code execution via malicious-file use-after-free
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Use-after-free in Adobe InDesign ID20.2 and earlier or ID19.5.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a malicious file. Adobe identifies only a memory-lifetime error and has not published the affected parser, object type, or invalid reuse operation. Exploitation requires a local user to open the crafted file, after which code runs with that user's privileges and can read, change, or disrupt accessible data and processes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
