Sensitive-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds file read
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe After Effects 25.2, 24.6.6 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the unchecked operation that permits the read beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires a local user to open the crafted file, and the disclosed memory can reveal address data used to bypass ASLR.
