Application crash via malicious file parsing
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 9, 2025
A NULL pointer dereference in Adobe Substance 3D Viewer 0.22 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the invalid pointer operation triggered while opening the crafted file. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the bounded consequence is termination of the Viewer process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
