Application interruption via file-triggered use-after-free
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Use-after-free in Adobe Acrobat Reader affected tracks allows attackers to interrupt the application by supplying a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, memory object, or stale-reference operation beyond classifying the defect as use-after-free. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and Adobe's published vector limits the demonstrated consequence to application availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
